This Extra Care facility in Goldthorpe provides 62 apartments in a purpose built three storey building. The apartments are predominantly 2 bedroom and are served by a restaurant, social and amenity facilities such as a hair salon and spa. 

 The design is orientated around a secure landscaped courtyard garden, accessible from the public sitting areas. Natural timber cladding is used to soften the building and reflect the surrounding mature landscape and trees. Projecting bays provide relief and identity to individual apartments. A low pitched standing seam roof with a significant overhang adds to the contemporary design approach.
