Forming an integral part of this new Lifetime Homes Community Frickey Lodge provides 68 apartments together with a restaurant, coffee bar and salon that are open to the public.

 

A contemporary design ethos was adopted. The distinctive roof profile to the lounge area and modern window proportions with glazed panels add interest and rhythm to the façade. An added consideration was that there would be a significant number of residents with dementia, thereby requiring some very specific design criteria. A south facing private walled garden accessed from the coffee bar provides a secure external space for residents.
