Thurlby Road, Gainsborough
October 2020
Work continues to progress on the urban regeneration of the Thurlby Road district, close to the town centre in Gainsborough with the construction of 27 new build houses. The site was previously occupied by a 1970’s residential “hybrid” where maisonettes were located above ground floor apartments.
The trend in more recent housing demand made these properties difficult to let and they were subject to significant antisocial behaviour. The new family homes when complete will comprise of two, three and four bedroom properties over a range of tenures.
Our client, Acis Group, have their head office in Gainsborough and are actively involved in a number of exciting schemes, including a major riverside residential development where AWSM achieved a detailed planning consent earlier this year.
Station Road, Denholme
September 2020
Detailed planning permission has been granted for this major housing development on the site of a former timber yard in Denholme, West Yorkshire.
Comprising 75 houses the development is being promoted by Vistry Partnerships on behalf of Together Housing.
Acanthus WSM are delighted to be working with Vistry again who are providing a full turn key service on this project.
Work on the one, two and three bedroom houses is due to commence in October with completion anticipated early 2022.
