RESIDENTIAL

Oliver Heighs, Scarborough

Oliver Heights is a high quality residential development of 200 house and flats constructed over three phases on the site of a former local authority housing estate. Acanthus WSM Architects were appointed to do the masterplan and the detailed design of phase I. The steeply sloping site offers views across the valley to Oliver’s Mount and influenced the design of a scheme which is largely comprised of 3 storey units with basement garages and apartments.

The design, layout and choice of materials have created a development very individual in nature, reflecting the features and character of the local fishing villages of this area. This was recognised when the development was awarded winner of ‘Transformation of the Year’ at the Yorkshire Residential Property Awards.
