Cutting Edge Framework

September 2016

Acanthus WSM Architects was delighted to be selected as a framework architect for Cutting Edge, incorporating several registered providers such as Together Housing Group and Riverside. We look forward to working on projects from Yorkshire to Northumberland

London Road, Leicester

August 2016

Detailed planning consent has recently been granted for a 132 student bedroom scheme with ground floor retail and commercial space on a challenging Leicester City centre site.  The accommodation is spread over six floors and follows a contemporary design approach.  The proposal will be manufactured off-site via a  ‘Fusion’ panel system to the upper floor levels in order to achieve the tight programme for completion. Construction on site is imminent.

Office Move

July 2016

On the 1st June 2016 Acanthus WSM Architects, and their associated conservation consultancy Woodhall, moved to a new office in the centre of Leeds. Our new studio on the 11th floor of 2 King Charles Street offers amazing but distracting 360° views over the city!
