Development of this former brownfield site on the edge of the Cragg Hill Conservation Area faced strong opposition during the planning process; further complicated by a blanket tree preservation order. 13 townhouses constructed from natural stone and slate provide modern flexible living spaces whilst respecting the local Victorian aesthetics. An adjacent further 2 bedroom apartments were offered for affordable rent by Yorkshire Housing.
