The completed 49 affordable dwellings provide 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms on a ‘brownfield’ site. The highly energy efficient development achieved Levels 4 and 5 of the ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’, whilst two dwellings were selected to be rated as zero carbon after achieving Code Level 6, the highest rating achievable under the code.
The new brick built properties are arranged in two storey short terrace blocks or as semi-detached units. Dwellings incorporate feature gables and projecting bays.
