2018 has officially been the busiest year ever for Acanthus WSM!

Successful projects have been completed throughout the country including our flagship student residential scheme in the centre of Leicester, a major extension to Totley Primary School which despite tight programme was finished in time for the new autumn term and and the Brewhouse café and new toilet block at Beningbrough Hall by our associated conservation consultancy Woodhall.

2018 also saw the delivery of over 250 homes for older people in Mansfield, Nottingham and Peterborough for both the public and private sector, some with a specialist dementia provision.

Acanthus  WSM were delighted with the recognition of  Phase 2 of our affordable housing scheme at Cross Green, Leeds. In addition to winning a Northern Housing Award it was shortlisted for the Prestigious Inside Housing Awards 2018.

The Acanthus WSM team look forward to an equally busy 2019 with a number of schemes due to start on site early in the new year. These range from several bespoke homes for people with very specific disabilities in Yorkshire, Humberside and London to a £65m multi-phase PRS development in Sheffield.

Finally we are delighted to announce that Shawn Hancock is to join the board of directors at Acanthus WSM from the 1st January 2019.
